Burki will join the London-based hedge fund next month, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. He focused on merger arbitrage, event driven and special situations at Carlson in London and will move to Dubai as part of his new role at Qube, the person said asking not to be identified because the details are private.
A representative for Qube declined to comment. Carlson Capital didn’t immediately respond to a request seeking comment.
