HCA Buys Bankrupt Texas Hospital for $41 Million (1)

The sale of the beleaguered Trinity Regional Hospital Sasche to HCA Healthcare Inc., the largest US hospital chain, was approved by the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas Wednesday.

The Dallas-area hospital will be bought for $41 million in cash and the deal is expected to close by the end of January, Marcus Helt, an attorney at McDermott Will & Emery LLP who represents Trinity Regional, said during a bankruptcy hearing.
