Grubhub Founder Mulled Buying Company Back From Just Eat: Times

Grubhub Inc. co-founder Matt Maloney was working with private equity investor General Atlantic to buy back the food delivery company that he sold last year to Just Eat Takeaway.com NV for $7.3 billion, the Sunday Times reported, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.

Maloney ultimately decided earlier this year against a bid for the company he founded in Chicago in 2004, though the plunge in Just Eat’s share price could revive the possibility of an offer, the paper said.
