Greenhill Hires Former Head of Shipping Tycoon’s Family Office

The former head of French shipping tycoon Rodolphe Saade’s family office is moving to an investment advisory role at Greenhill & Co. in Paris.

Michel Sirat, 62, has joined what is now a division of Japanese banking giant Mizuho Financial Group Inc. as a managing director, according to a statement on his LinkedIn page.

He’ll build on the firm’s business of “advising both domestic and cross-border transactions,” it said.

A Greenhill representative in France confirmed Sirat’s hiring.
