Goldman Names Lievens as Global Financial Institutions Co-Chair

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. appointed Europe’s head of financial institutions Dirk Lievens as co-chair of global financial institutions, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News.

Lievens, who is a partner, will advise financial institutions globally alongside John Mahoney, the other co-chair of the global FIG group, the memo said. Stephen Considine and Mathieu Munuera will become co-heads of FIG in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, it said.

Considine joined Goldman in 2006 and became a partner in 2022, while Munuera has been a managing director since 2015, according to the memo. The pair will retain senior coverage ...
