Gladstone Starts at Millennium Management to Run Merger-Arb Team

Michael Gladstone, who formerly headed European operations for Pentwater Capital, started this week at Millennium Management, where he will run a team focusing on merger arbitrage and event-driven strategies, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Gladstone will lead a pod called LNY Capital at Izzy Englander’s multistrategy hedge fund, as senior portfolio manager, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. A representative for Millennium, which manages about $63 billion, declined to comment.
