Genoa Airport Aims to Open Firm to Private Holders, Sole Reports

Italy’s Genoa Christopher Columbus Airport has decided to open its shareholding structure to private partners, President Enrico Musso and Director General Francesco D’Amico told Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore on Monday.

The entry of new partners in the structure of the company that manages the Genovese airport is “fundamental” for its development, Musso said to the newspaper in an interview. Options include a capital increase or the sale of shares by current shareholders, he also said.

The airport is also planning new routes, including to Poland.
