French Solar Farm Developer Arkolia Is Said to Work on Sale

French solar and wind farm developer Arkolia Energies SAS is working with financial advisers to explore a sale, people familiar with the matter said.

The process should start in coming weeks and could draw interest from larger energy companies and infrastructure funds, said the people, who asked not to be named discussing private information. Arkolia could be valued at about €350 million ($381 million), one of the people said.

The company, founded in 2009, raised €15 million in 2018 from investors including Bpifrance, Societe Generale Capital Partenaires, Soper and Irdi Capital Investissement to accelerate its growth.
