French Retailer Casino Puts Energy Unit GreenYellow Up for Sale

Casino Guichard-Perrachon SA put renewable energy provider GreenYellow SAS up for sale as the French supermarket operator seeks to reduce debt and halt a share decline.

Casino has launched a sale process and aims to find a buyer for its stake by the end of the year, it said in a statement Monday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report. No binding offer has been made, nor any final decision, the retailer said.
