Ex-Disney TV Head Sherwood Sells Kids Sports Startup to TeamSnap

Ben Sherwood, the former co-chair of Walt Disney Co.’s TV businesses including ABC, has sold his youth sports startup to TeamSnap, which provides software to the industry.

Sherwood founded Mojo Sports two years ago to capitalize on the growth of the $37.5 billion youth sports market. It offers coaches, players and their families game videos, drills and other tools. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
