FBI, DEA Landlord Sued by Founder Ousted in Hedge Fund Takeover

HC Government Realty Trust Inc., which leases property to the FBI, the DEA, and other federal agencies, was sued for millions in Delaware by one of its founding members, which claims it was “ousted from the enterprise” by “an opportunistic hedge fund.”

The lawsuit also targets the holding company that owns HCGRT, a real estate investment trust and commercial landlord for the government. It was filed Thursday in the Delaware Chancery Court by Holmwood Capital Advisors LLC, which says it founded the companies but subsequently lost control of them.
