EV Charging Firm SparkCharge Plans Europe, Middle East Expansion

SparkCharge is planning to expand its mobile electric-vehicle charging services to Europe and the Middle East, according to Chief Executive Officer Joshua Aviv.

The closely-held US-based company recently expanded to Canada and Mexico, Aviv said during an interview with Bloomberg Television, after raising $30.5 million from venture-capital and strategic-investment firms in May.

Josh Aviv, SparkCharge CEO, tells Open Interest that we are entering the third phase of battery technology infrastructure where EVs can be charged in minutes, and in the future, EVs will be charged as fast as putting gas in a car. Source: Bloomberg
