EQT, Nestle Double Down on Investment in Veterinary Care Company

Veterinary care company IVC Evidensia has secured 3.5 billion euros ($4.2 billion) from investors including the private equity groups EQT and Silver Lake.

Nestle SA also participated in the minority investment, which values Bristol, U.K.-based IVC at 12.5 billion euros, including debt, according to a statement Tuesday.

EQT and Nestle already backed the company while Silver Lake is joining as a new investor.

“This expanded partnership underscores and reflects our vision for what great veterinary care can be,” IVC Chief Executive Officer Steve Clarke said in a statement. “We believe that we can accelerate our growth through various digital opportunities.” ...
