Endeavor Agrees to Acquire WWE in $9.3 Billion Deal

Endeavor Group Holdings Inc. has agreed to buy World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. in a deal that values the company at $9.3 billion including debt.

The combined businesses will have an enterprise value of more than $21 billion, the companies said in a statement on Monday. Endeavor will hold a 51% controlling interest in the new company, and existing WWE shareholders will have a 49% interest.

The company will be led by Ariel Emanuel, chief executive officer of Endeavor. Emanuel will also continue in his role as CEO of Endeavor. Dana White will continue in his role as president of UFC, ...
