Embracer to Sell Easybrain Unit to Miniclip for $1.2 Billion (3)

Swedish gaming company Embracer Group AB agreed to sell its Easybrain unit for $1.2 billion in cash in a transaction it says will transform its financial position.

Miniclip SA of Switzerland will buy the unit in a deal that’s expected to close the first months of 2025, Embracer said in a statement on Thursday.

The company said the deal will wipe out almost all of its debt, which Embracer had built up during a rapid wave of takeovers of other gaming firms. Net debt is set to decline to 500 million Swedish kronor ($45 million) from about 13.2 billion kronor ...
