CVC Said to Name Peter Rutland as President of Investment Firm

CVC Capital Partners Plc has named Peter Rutland as president as the private capital behemoth beefs up its top ranks less than two years into its life as a listed firm, according to people familiar with the matter.

Rutland was appointed to the newly created role on Wednesday, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information. CVC also named Søren Vestergaard-Poulsen to another newly created role, chief investment officer, private equity.
