CVC Puts Credit Hedge Fund Up for Sale Amid Strategy Change (1)

CVC Credit Partners put a hedge fund up for sale as it changes its investment strategy in credit, people familiar with the situation said.

The company has contacted several firms to sell its CVC Global Credit Opportunities Fund Ltd., run by Oscar Anderson and Scott Bynum, said the people, who asked not to be named because the potential sale is private. CVC acquired the fund in 2012 in its merger with collateralized loan obligation manager Apidos Capital Management. CVC doesn’t publicly disclose the size of the fund.
