Credit Suisse SPAC Banker Traugott Is Leaving to Join LionTree

Credit Suisse Group AG’s John Traugott, a senior banker focused on special purpose acquisition company mergers, is leaving the Swiss lender, the latest in an exodus of more than two dozen senior staff, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Traugott is set to join LionTree LLC, the merchant bank and boutique advisory firm founded by Ehren Stenzler and Aryeh Bourkoff, in October in a senior role advising on industrial technology, SPAC and equity capital markets transactions, one of the people said.
