The Justice Department approved Communications and Power Industries LLC’s $175 million acquisition of SATCOM Technologies Inc., a unit of General Dynamics Corp. that manufacturers antenna systems.
Communications and Power (CPI) agreed to divest one of its subsidiaries, CPI ASC Signal Division Inc., that designs and manufacturers geostationary satellite antennas in order to proceed with the SATCOM acquisition, according to a settlement with the DOJ released Thursday,
CPI’s deal with SATCOM was first announced August 2019 and was expected to close by the end of that year.
