Citigroup Inc. has hired a new head of equity capital markets in North America from JPMorgan Chase & Co., as the bank continues to raid its US rival for investment banking talent.
Bernal J. Vargas III will join later this year and be based in New York, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News. He was most recently head of Americas cash equity sales at JPMorgan.
