CD&R Lines Up $1.7 Billion of Debt Financing for Veritiv Buyout

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC has lined up debt financing from a group of banks to help fund its buyout of packaging company Veritiv Corp., according to people familiar with the matter.

The group of Wall Street lenders will provide roughly $1.7 billion of debt as a mix of high-yield bonds and leveraged loans, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing a private transaction. The financing package also includes an asset-based loan facility and the exact amount of debt could change, the people added.
