Capital Energy to Sell $1B Renewable Energy Portfolio: Reuters

Renewable energy investor Capital Energy is selling a portfolio of assets in Spain estimated to be worth up to $1 billion, Reuters reported, citing two people with knowledge of the deal.

The company hired Lazard to divest the portfolio of 4.3 gigawatts of onshore wind and solar power plants, Reuters said, citing documents regarding the proposed sale. The final valuation will depend on due diligence of the projects, Reuters said.
