Cantor Taps Heaton, Sanger for Financial Institutions Dealmaking

Cantor Fitzgerald hired Citigroup Inc.’s Seth Heatonand Truist Financial Corp. alumnus Chris Sangerto advise on deals involving financial institutions, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Heaton, the head of North American banks at Citigroup, and Sanger, who was most recently head of banks at Truist Securities, are set to join Cantor Fitzgerald later this year, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing personnel matters.

Representatives for Cantor Fitzgerald and Truist declined to comment. A Citigroup spokesperson had no immediate comment.
