Cantor Fitzgerald Bulks Up FIG Group with Jefferies, Cavu Hires

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. has made some new hires to its financial institutions group, including Vishal Sitapara from Jefferies Financial Group Inc.

Sitapara was a managing director at Jefferies, according to a memo from Cantor’s Global Head of Investment Banking Sage Kelly reviewed by Bloomberg News.

Chuck Thompson is also joining from Cavu Securities, where he was a partner and head of markets and advisory. He previously held roles at banks such as Credit Suisse.
