Buyout Titans See Middle East Appeal for Deals, Hiring Undimmed

Buyout firms General Atlantic and KKR & Co. said they continue to see fundraising and investment opportunities in the Middle East, joining Wall Street peers in signaling that the Iran war has not dimmed the region’s appeal.

“The capital providers in the region are still making commitments, they’re still actively engaged with us,” said Bill Ford, chief executive officer of General Atlantic. “They’re looking at projects, looking at new investments,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
