Brookfield-Led Buyout of Compass Said to Be Worth $5.5 Billion

Brookfield Infrastructure Partners’ and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s acquisition of Compass Datacenters values the Dallas-based company at $5.5 billion, including debt, people familiar with the matter said.

Brookfield Infrastructure and its institutional partners, along with existing investor Ontario Teachers’, announced earlier that they agreed with RedBird Capital Partners and the Azrieli Group to acquire Compass, but didn’t disclose terms. The buyers declined to comment.
