Grifols Family Confirms New Talks With Brookfield Over Takeover

Four investment groups with ties to the family that owns about 35% of Grifols SA confirmed they are in talks with Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. over a potential offer for the Spanish blood-plasma company following a failed attempt last year.

Family offices Deria, Ponder Trade and Radellor, as well as Scranton Enterprises BV — a vehicle owned by former executives including family members — have held talks with Brookfield, according to a statement on Wednesday, which was issued following media reports.
