Brembo on Lookout for Deals After $400 Million Ohlins Purchase

Italian brakes-maker Brembo NV is ready to evaluate new acquisitions after it purchased the Swedish suspension manufacturer Ohlins Racing AB for €370 million ($400 million) last month in its biggest deal ever.

“We want to keep growing, also through acquisitions,” Executive Chairman Matteo Tiraboschi said in a phone interview on Thursday, after the company reported results. Brembo is always scouting possible deals, while keeping a very selective approach, he added.

Brembo, which manufactures brake systems for supercar makers such as Ferrari NV and Porsche Automobil Holding SE, reported third-quarter revenue of €923 million, slightly missing analysts estimates.
