Czech billionaire Renata Kellnerova is expanding in Europe’s e-commerce business with the biggest acquisition since she took over her family’s investment company after its founder — her husband — died two years ago.
PPF Group NV on Friday announced the purchase of a 15% stake inInPost SA, an operator of self-service delivery lockers, at €10 a share from private equity firm Advent International. Under the agreement, PPF has the option to buy a further 15%, which would bring the value of the entire deal to about 1.5 billion euros ($1.6 billion), according to Bloomberg calculations.
