Benettons’ Atlantia Close to Selling Hochtief Stake to ACS (1)

Benetton family-controlled Atlantia SpA is in final talks with ACS SA to dispose of a minority investment in German construction firm Hochtief AG, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Italian infrastructure company holds about 14.5% of Hochtief and is set to sell the holding to majority owner ACS, the people said, asking not to be identified as the process is ongoing. The deal is in the final stages and could be completed as early as today, they said, though may yet not go through.

Representatives for Atlantia, Hochtief and ACS declined to comment.
