Outdoor retailer Bass Pro Shops is buying a historic fishing lodge in the Florida Keys, adding another luxury hotel to its growing portfolio.
Bass Pro agreed to pay Northwood Investors more than $300 million for the 254-room Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, according to a person familiar with the deal who requested anonymity to discuss the transaction.
A representative for Northwood declined to comment on the purchase price, while a representative for Bass Pro didn’t respond to a request for comment. The firms disclosed the transaction in a statement Wednesday.
