Bardin Hill Plans Sale of European CLO Business to HPS Partners

Bardin Hill Investment Partners agreed to sell its European collateralized loan obligations business to HPS Investment Partners as the firm focuses on its domestic offerings, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The sale, which is subject to regulatory approval, will help HPS expand its presence in Europe, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private plans. Bardin Hill’s team is expected to work with HPS on CLO refinancings and resets through the transition process.
