Barclays Hires BofA Veteran to Help Lead Healthcare Bankers

Barclays Plc hired Kieran Whitty, an 18-year veteran of Bank of America Corp., to co-run healthcare for Europe, the Middle East and Africa as part of its growth plan for the investment bank.

Whitty will join the British lender in June in London and will be co-head of the business alongside Sid Chhibbar. He will report to Richard Landgarten, the global head of healthcare and real estate investment banking, the firm said in a statement on Thursday.
