Bank of America’s APAC Equity Syndicate Head Said to Move to US

Bank of America Corp.’s head of Asia Pacific equity capital markets syndicate Anastasios Pefanis is moving to the US to head its Americas syndicate, according to people familiar with the matter.

Pefanis, currently based in Hong Kong, will move in the second quarter, one of the people said, asking not to be identified because the information isn’t public. He will take over from Daniel Burton-Morgan, who will lead ECM Americas financial sponsor origination, a newly created role, the person said.

Both Pefanis and Burton-Morgan will report to Jim Cooney, head of Americas ECM, the person said. A ...
