Bank of America Hires UBS Tech Banker Hardegree (2)

Bank of America Corp. has hired UBS Group AG investment banker Richard Hardegree in Silicon Valley, according to an internal memo.

Hardegree will be based in Bank of America’s Palo Alto, California office, the memo said, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report.

He will be vice chairman of M&A reporting to Eamon Brabazon and Ivan Farman, global co-heads of M&A, who co-signed the memo.

A spokesperson for Bank of America confirmed the memo was accurate. A representative for UBS declined to comment.
