Bank of America Hires Barclays’s Scroggins for Health-Care Deals

Bank of America Corp. has hired Soraya Scroggins as head of life science tools and diagnostics within its health-care investment banking group.

Scroggins will be based in New York and report to Adrian Mee, the lender’s head of global health-care investment banking, according to a memo to staff from Mee Wednesday. Scroggins will be responsible for driving growth and strategy in the fast-growing sector within health-care.

Scroggins most recently spent 17 years at Barclays Plc and its predecessor in the U.S., Lehman Brothers, where she held a similar role, according to the memo.
