Aroundtown Seeks €1.1 Billion for Center Parcs Resorts (1)

Aroundtown SA is exploring the sale of a portfolio of holiday resorts in continental Europe as the company races to raise capital and cut debt.

The landlord has appointed Eastdil Securedto help dispose of Center Parcs properties in countries including Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, and a short list of interested parties have been invited into a second round of bidding, people with knowledge of the process said. The properties could fetch as much as €1.1 billion ($1.2 billion), the people said, asking not to be identified as the process is private.
