Arcis Golf Reaches $2 Billion Value, Buys Three Atlanta Courses

Arcis Golf, a privately held chain of courses majority backed by investment firm Atairos, has bought three golf clubs in the Atlanta-area from larger competitor Invited.

The second-biggest owner and operator of US golf facilities, Arcis is now valued at $2 billion including debt, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.

Terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed. Invited, which changed its name from Club Corp. in 2022 and is backed by Apollo Global Management Inc., is the only US golf course operator that is bigger ...
