Apollo Hires Goldman Partner Earl Hunt to Bolster Credit Team

Earl Hunt, a partner at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., is joining Apollo Global Management Inc. as the firm bulks up its credit team.

Hunt will lead Apollo’s new non-traded business development company and co-head sales of investor stakes in credit, according to a person familiar with the matter. Hunt, 39, will report to John Zito, deputy CIO of the credit business, and join Apollo in September.
