Russian Aluminum Giant Weighs Asset Split as Chairman Resigns

En+ Group International PJSC confirmed it’s reviewing its strategy with respect to United Co. Rusal International PJSC, with one of the options being a possible carve out of the Russian aluminum giant’s international business.

At the same time Chairman Gregory Barker will resign, En+ said in a statement on Monday. Before departing, he will help with the transition to his replacement Christopher Bancroft Burnham, the company’s senior independent director.

Rusal extended its gains to 41% in Hong Kong trading.
