Alexis Gilman joined Alston & Bird as a partner in its antitrust team in Washington, D.C., the firm announced Wednesday.
Gilman, who jumped from Crowell & Moring, advises clients on a range of antitrust and competition matters, according to Alston & Bird. His practice spans industries including health care, retail, consumer goods, food and beverage, veterinary, distribution, technology, and casino gaming, the firm said.
Gilman previously worked at the Federal Trade Commission, where he served as the head of the unit responsible for reviewing mergers and acquisitions in the health care, retail, and consumer products sectors.
