Air-Taxi Maker Joby Adds LinkedIn Founder, Google Vets to Board

Joby Aero Inc. has nabbed LinkedIn Corp. co-founder Reid Hoffman to sit on its board along with several prominent technology and aviation executives, a coup for the electric air-taxi startup as it prepares to go public.

Google General Counsel Halimah DeLaine Prado and Laura Wright, a former Southwest Airlines Co. chief financial officer, also will join Joby’s eight-person board, the company said in a statement Friday.
