Zumba Fitness Stuck With Video Privacy Suit Over Tracking Tools

Zumba Fitness LLC failed to convince a federal judge to dismiss a Video Privacy Protection Act claim brought by two customers who purchased instructor training course videos.

It was sufficient to allege that Zumba disclosed the URLs identifying videos the customers purchased and knew that it provided that information when it installed tracking pixels from companies like Meta Platforms, Judge William P. Dimitrouleas said for the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
