Victims of a Zacks Investment Research Inc. data breach have withdrawn their proposed class actions, and a federal court has thus dismissed their cases with prejudice.
Allyson Eggert, Valerie Bicker, and Joseph Trouy all alleged in separate complaints in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois that because of Zacks’ negligence, names, addresses, and phone numbers were exposed in a data security incident. The plaintiffs said their info made it to the dark web.
