A lawsuit from a former Yosemite park ranger who alleged they were fired for displaying a large transgender pride flag on the iconic El Capitan rock formation was transferred from a court in Washington, DC, to California.
Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan said in the transfer order that Shannon Joslin’s case has “no meaningful connections” to the Washington court and should be heard in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California where Yosemite National Park is located.
