Yes Communities Agrees to Deal in Lawsuit Over 2024 Data Breach

Mobile-home community operator Yes Communities LLC has agreed to settle a proposed class action alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal information of thousands of people that was exposed in a 2024 data breach.

Class members would be eligible to receive up to $2,500 to cover their out-of-pocket losses from the breach, $80 to compensate them for lost time, and credit-monitoring services, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary approval of the claims-made settlement, filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Colorado.
