Yale Workers Settle ADA, Genetic Bias Suit Over Wellness Program

Yale University and workers who said a rule requiring them and others to participate in an employee wellness program or pay a $1,300 fine violated federal disability bias and genetic information laws agreed to settle the dispute, federal court records show.

The U.S District Court for the District of Connecticut Thursday order the parties to file a motion for preliminary approval of the settlement by Nov. 22, or a report indicating that more time is needed to finalize a settlement agreement.
