The photo was allegedly used in a December 2020 Yahoo video posted online without picture-taker Allan Tannenbaum’s permission, according to his complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Tannenbaum alleges a letter was sent to Yahoo on March 31, seeking to address the complaints of direct infringement and potential harm by the company’s continued use of the copyrighted image.
