X Prevails Against Charges It Retaliated for Anti-Musk Comments

X Corp. convinced a National Labor Relations Board judge to dismiss claims that the social media company illegally fired a worker for posting criticisms of company owner Elon Musk.

NLRB Administrative Law Judge Sharon Steckler dismissed the complaint from agency lawyers Tuesday, ruling that former employee Yao Yue was a supervisor who wasn’t protected by federal labor law.

The decision is the first in the NLRB’s first-ever complaint against the social media company formerly known as Twitter.
