Elon Musk‘s X Corp. must face a counter-lawsuit over its terms of service agreements that a data-scraping firm says creates an illegal public monopoly on public internet data.

Judge William H. Alsup of the US District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday largely denied X’s motion to dismiss counter claims from Bright Data Ltd., an Israeli data scraping firm, which also said X implemented the anticompetitive data practices to boost Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI and its chatbot Grok.
